Mine Are Blues ♫ by Rich Willey for Jazz Dectet was written on a New Jersey Transit train going from Woodbridge NJ into Manhattan in 1990 or so. It was originally written in the key of F# minor, but this version is in G minor (you’re welcome!). It was arranged for a seven-horn jazz band for a concert presented by the Asheville Jazz Composers Workshop in 2004.
