Squeetz ♫ jazz quintet composed and arranged by Rich Willey

Frank Zappa famously asked, “Does humor belong in music?” If your answer is yes, then you might give this tune a listen. ♫

Complete with some Coltrane changes in the bridge, this challenging-to-play chord sequence will keep things interesting both on the bandstand and in the audience.

Rich’s composition/arrangement Squeetz  as heard on his Rich Willey Quintet Gone With The Piggies  CD.

Nutty jazz/march arrangement with some Coltrane changes on the bridge. Originally arranged for trombone/tenor sax front line, but works equally well for trumpet/alto sax front line.

Parts for: B♭ 1 & 2, E♭ 1 & 2, C-bass clef 1 & 2 and rhythm section come in a PDF that you’ll be able to download immediately upon submission of your order.

Zany jazz/march feel, challenging chord progression, 32-bar form, head arrangement, advanced level of difficulty. Suggested tempo: ♩ = 132.

Written solos for any of our charts may be special ordered at a reasonable cost. Email us through our contact page with any and all inquiries.
