And Another Thing ♫ jazz quintet composed & arranged by Rich Willey

Want a fun, up-tempo chart for your jazz quintet? Something with standard changes everybody ought to know, anyway?

This chart is designed to make you sound good without being too terribly difficult—with an a cappella  soli section in the middle to put your audience on the edge of its seat!

As heard on the “Rich Willey & Boptism”  CD featuring Chris Potter on tenor sax. Head is followed by soloist(s) before the soli chorus is played a cappella  by the horns between solos, and then a counter-melody for the second horn during the out chorus. Arranged for trombone/tenor sax front line, or trumpet/alto sax front line. You can even play it with all four horns together if you choose.

Brisk tempo, “All The Things You Are”  chord progression, medium to advanced level of difficulty. Suggested tempo: ♩ = 250.

Quintet parts are for trumpet (tenor sax) 1 & 2, alto sax 1 & 2, trombone1 & 2, piano/guitar, bass and drums. Parts come in a PDF that you’ll be able to download immediately upon submission of your order.

Written solos for any of our charts may be special ordered at a reasonable cost. Email us through our contact page with any and all inquiries.
