All Of Me by Marks & Simons ♫ arranged by Rich Willey for jazz sextet
Of the over 2,000 different recordings (including four by Frank Sinatra), who recorded this song first in December of 1931? Was it Paul Whiteman or was it Ruth Etting?
Few songs have stood the test of time as well as All Of Me by Gerald Marks and Seymour Simons. Here is yet another way to play it.

Description
All Of Me by Gerald Marks & Seymour Simons ♫
This Latin-Jazz arrangement of the old Simons & Marks standard has the melody arranged for trumpet on lead with tenor sax and trombone playing a counter-line. After first solo section, there is a unison soli section for one full chorus. After the second solo section the melody is presented in the tenor sax and trombone, and halfway through there is a modulation (up a half step) into a full ensemble section leading to a slick Latin-Jazz ending.
Written to be played at ♩ = 188, 98 written measures, difficulty level is intermediate (becomes more difficult as the tempo is increased).
Parts for Trumpet 1, Tenor Sax 2, Trombone or Tenor Sax 3, and rhythm section come in a PDF that you’ll be able to download immediately upon submission of your order.
Written solos for any of our charts may be special ordered at a reasonable cost. Email us through our contact page with any and all inquiries.

So, was it Paul Whiteman or was it Ruth Etting? It depends on who you ask, as they both claimed to have recorded it first. ☺
