Down ‘n’ Dirty ♫ jazz sextet composed and arranged by Rich Willey will pull your audience right in.
This minor 12/8 Afro-Cuban flavored chart is also a great showcase for drum soloist before the out-chorus. Arranged twice, once to be played before solos, the other to be played after all solos.
52 written bars, difficulty level is intermediate. This is a 16-bar form with fairly easy blowing changes reminiscent of A Night In Tunisia. Always a crowd pleaser and an excellent set-closer. Total arrangement is 32 bars plus a coda.
